70+ Cards Signed, Sealed and Ready to Send: Crafting Kindness was a Massive Success!

This past weekend, The Mighty Miles Foundation hosted Crafting Kindness, and we are still feeling the warmth and joy from the experience! It was an incredible event filled with creativity, community, and compassion, all in the spirit of bringing joy to children staying in hospital!

From the moment the doors opened, the energy in the room was undeniable. Volunteers, families, and supporters gathered to craft handmade items with love and purpose. Every project was infused with kindness. Each creation will go directly to kids facing medical challenges, offering them a small but powerful reminder that they are not alone. By the end of the event, we had created 70+ heartfelt cards!

We were honored to partner with the nonprofit Cardz for Kidz to make this event possible. Cardz for Kidz is dedicated to spreading hope, joy, and encouragement through uplifting, hand-decorated cards sent to children, families, and seniors facing difficult challenges. Their mission aligns perfectly with ours, to bring smiles and comfort to those who need it most. Thanks to this partnership, our handmade cards will reach children worldwide, helping them feel special during tough times.

One of the most heartwarming aspects of the event was seeing people of all ages come together to give back. Strangers became friends, kids worked alongside adults, and kind hearted volunteers pitched in with supplies and donations. The Mighty Miles Foundation has been and will always be about creating a sense of togetherness, and Crafting Kindness was a beautiful example of how a shared mission can bring people together.

Beyond the hands-on activities, the event also raised awareness and funds for families in need. We shared stories of resilience, celebrated the strength of parents and caregivers, and honored the legacy of Miles. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised $414 to support sick children, reaffirming why we do what we do, because every family deserves a helping hand and a moment of joy amidst life’s challenges.
