We’ve partnered with local businesses and organizations to place official Toy Drive Toyboxes in communities in the Reedsburg area. These boxes are where you can drop off toys in the weeks leading up to August 8th. Every donation goes directly to support children and families staying at Ronald McDonald Houses and pediatric hospitals.

Why we do it
Every year on August 8th, The Mighty Miles Foundation celebrates the life and legacy of Miles James Bishop with our annual Toy Drive. What began as a beautiful gesture at Miles’ funeral—donating toys to the Ronald McDonald House—has grown into a powerful movement to bring comfort, joy, and hope to children facing serious medical challenges.
Why Toys matter
Mighty Miles spent a lot of time in hospital rooms. When children face medical challenges far from home, even a small moment of play can make a big difference.
The toys at RMHC and in ICU Toy Rooms get played with by a lot of children, so they break much faster than other toys. Having new toys makes all of the difference to bring light to otherwise gloomy hospital rooms.
Toys offer comfort, distraction, and a sense of normalcy in an otherwise scary and unfamiliar environment. We know, because we saw first-hand the impact that they had on Miles.
Where do the toys go?
All collected toys will be delivered directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities, where families stay while their children receive hospital care, and ICU toy rooms.
RMHC means a lot to our family. This is where Miles and his family stayed during their battle with HLHS.
These homes provide more than shelter. they’re a source of comfort, hope, and healing. Your donation helps make their stays a little brighter.
