On October 10th, the Mighty Miles Foundation had the privilege of delivering dozens of toys to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN, and it was nothing short of a success.

With a trunk full of toys, we honored the life of our beloved Miles and made a meaningful impact for other children who, like him, are bravely facing serious medical challenges.

This event was especially memorable, as KIMT News 3 reporter Emma Esteb joined us and interviewed both Nikki Raupp, Miles' auntie mommy, and Jodie Sherwood, Miles' mother about the drive and the mission of the Mighty Miles Foundation. Sharing our story on such a public platform was a powerful reminder of why we began this journey—to help families in need and keep Miles' spirit alive by giving back in his name.

For our family, it was more than just a delivery. It was a way to do something good in memory of Miles, who fought so hard throughout his short life. Nikki captured it perfectly in her interview, describing Miles as “such a strong little boy, always so happy and a joy to be around.” Through his strength, we found our own, and it’s that strength that fuels the work of this foundation.

The toy drive is just the beginning of what we hope to accomplish. As Jodie mentioned during the interview, the Ronald McDonald House's unwavering support inspired us to give back in any way we can, and the toy drop-off in Rochester is only the first step.

Our next stop is Milwaukee, WI. We’ll continue to spread joy and comfort, one toy at a time, to children who need it the most. We’re so grateful for the outpouring of support, and for everyone who donated toys at Miles’ funeral, your generosity has already made such a difference.

As we prepare for our next drop, we invite you to join us in keeping Miles’ legacy alive. The Mighty Miles Foundation is 100% fueled by donations, and we rely on the generosity of our community to continue supporting families with sick children.

If you'd like to be part of this mission, please visit our website or check out our Facebook page to learn how you can donate. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Together, we can continue spreading smiles and support to those who need it most.
